I Exist in the Future is a deep exploration and revival of historical found typography in Fayetteville and the Northwest Arkansas region. I designed one of the fonts, Farmstead, and this mural. The mural references Fayetteville’s rich history and identities while embodying an optimistic message for the future! The abstract shape in the background represents ecstatic movement into the future, while also referencing the Razorback Greenway trail. My class and I painted this mural together with the help of professors Dina Benbrahim and Ryan Slone and muralist Olivia Trimble.
